We still remember the day we closed on this house—just before the world turned upside down in 2020. It was the dead of winter, and we had no idea what was ahead. But as the world shrank, this house and neighborhood expanded around us in ways we could never have predicted. What we thought was simply a new house became our sanctuary. We spent five unforgettable years here—many of them in the thick of the pandemic, which meant a lot of time in this house. Our second child took his first steps right down the middle of Milton Street, cheered on by neighbors. We brought our third baby home here and completed our family. These are the kinds of moments that make this place magical.

On any given day, you’ll look out your window and see a swarm of kids gathered in one backyard or another. Movie nights crop up spontaneously in a neighbor’s yard.
