165 North Wyoming Avenue
Dear Future Homeowners,
From the very beginning, this home became the place where people gathered.
Over the past decade, it has hosted everything from holiday dinners and lively cocktail parties to movie nights, sports celebrations, and spontaneous evenings with friends. The first floor flows so naturally from room to room that entertaining always feels effortless, and in the warmer months the space opens easily to the backyard, where the celebration simply continues outdoors. With speakers both inside and out, music has always been part of the atmosphere here—sometimes as a quiet backdrop, and sometimes as the reason a little dancing breaks out.
As our children grew into their teenage and young adult years, we especially appreciated how the home offered space for everyone. The second-floor bedrooms became their own retreat, while the expansive first-floor primary suite remained our peaceful oasis. During the months of Covid, with five of us working and ‘attending’ school virtually, we were deeply grateful for the room to spread out, work, relax, and still find space to come together and feel connected.
Mornings here have their own magic. The sunrise views from the primary bedroom are spectacular year-round, especially in winter when the light stretches across the sky. On quiet mornings, an early coffee on the front deck—just as the neighborhood begins to wake—can feel like a small luxury. At night, you might even catch the moon or a peek of the distant city lights.
The backyard offers a different kind of calm. Summer afternoons bring sunshine, barbecues, and gatherings around the fire pit, while clear evenings invite stargazing. There are so many places to sit, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.
The lower level has always been a place for fun—game nights with darts, air hockey, video games, and board games when the kids were younger, and later, more grown-up gatherings with friends. The attached garage and basement entry have also been a daily convenience we never took for granted, especially in bad weather, and after years of trekking to a detached garage.
The kitchen has been the true heart of the home—a place where meals are made together, conversations unfold around the island, and mornings begin with coffee and breakfast before the day takes off.
Practical comforts make life here easy as well: generous storage and pantry space, three-zone heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort, and thoughtful updates throughout the years.
Most of all, this home has given us space—to gather, to celebrate, to relax, and to grow together.
We hope it brings you just as many wonderful memories.
Warmly,
The Current Homeowners of 165 N Wyoming Avenue
