From the very beginning, this home became the place where people gathered.

Over the past decade, it has hosted everything from holiday dinners and lively cocktail parties to movie nights, sports celebrations, and spontaneous evenings with friends. During the months of Covid, with five of us working and ‘attending’ school virtually, we were deeply grateful for the room to spread out, work, relax, and still find space to come together and feel connected.

The attached garage and basement entry have also been a daily convenience we never took for granted, especially in bad weather, and after years of trekking to a detached garage.

The kitchen has been the true heart of the home—a place where meals are made together, conversations unfold around the island, and mornings begin with coffee and breakfast before the day takes off.
