Dear Future Homeowner,

As we think back on our time in this house, the memories come flooding in. We landed in Cedar Grove from a one-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn — just starting out. Our son took his first steps here. We cooked our first Thanksgiving dinner here. We survived COVID-19 here. We've hosted birthday parties, holiday gatherings, and backyard barbecues. The love and laughter this home holds is immeasurable.

The convenience of Reservoir Ridge is hard to beat. A short walk to the Montclair Heights train station or the 191x bus makes commuting to the city easy. Easy access to Routes 3, 46, Interstate 80, and the Parkway makes every road trip a breeze. And a short 30-minute ride to Newark International Airport takes the stress out of travel. The restaurants in Cedar Grove, Little Falls, and Montclair have satisfied every craving for this foodie family.

When it's time to relax, the privacy and serenity of the Lenape Trail and reservoir deliver. In April and October, when the leaves are sparse and the sun hangs low, the sky is painted with the most beautiful sunsets. Be sure to step out on the deck and take a peek — you won't want to miss it. A couple of steps down the rocks out back and you can hike the trail, or walk to the Mills Reservation entrance on Normal Avenue for a leisurely stroll.

All that said, the hardest part of leaving is that we can't take our neighbors with us. They are simply the best. You will find a community that is not only great company, but shows up for each other. Life gets complicated for everyone, and these are the people who will watch your kids, walk your dog, shovel your driveway, and grab your mail and packages. They are friendly, loving, and welcoming — simply irreplaceable. Trust us...you're in great company.
