Dear Future Homeowners,

Eight and a half years ago and after many, many open houses all over South Orange, Maplewood, West Orange and Montclair, we found 17 Eder Terrace and discovered how a house can truly become a home. While we were smitten by physical details like the gorgeous built-ins and the cozy fireplace, the half bath on the first floor and roomy kitchen, the closet space in the primary bedroom and tile work in the full bath, the finished basement and sunny Maplewood room by the deck…what we didn’t realize we would be joining was an amazing community. It started when we moved in and the neighborhood kids descended on us to see if we had any little ones to join in on their fun. Now that our daughter is 6-years-old, it makes us smile to no end that she gets home from school and can always find a friend (or two…or three!) to ride her bike, get in a snowball fight or play a game of tag. We love grabbing breakfast and a cookie at Three Daughters Bakery, lunch at Miti Miti or dinner at Fox and Falcon. We’ve enjoyed many hours at the playgrounds near us, participated in the awesome Halloween party and costume contest at Spiotta Park, and logged too many steps to count at the Turtle Back Zoo. Most importantly, we’ve found neighbors that are extended family and each week we look forward to Sunday afternoons when we find each other to enjoy a beverage and catch up. It is truly bittersweet that we have to move for our careers. We hope the next residents of 17 Eder Terrace find the joy and love that we have enjoyed in this amazing community.
