When our daughter was two we were living in Brooklyn, and much as we loved Brooklyn, we knew it was time for us to expand our space. From the moment we started looking, it was clear that South Orange was the right place for our growing family to do just that. When we pulled up to 333 Meadowbrook, we knew we were home. There is a cozy warmth inside of the house that even as we have made changes to the structure, we were able to maintain. When we closed on this house, we knew we were buying a great home. What we didn't know was that we were buying the BEST neighborhood in the WORLD.  Our neighbors have become dear friends, looking out for one another, sharing great food and drink, watching pets during trips, and caring for kids in a pinch. During the years we have had many a backyard gathering and we always meet up on the hill for summer concerts and movies.  It’s amazing how many memories fit in this cozy house, and how big our world became when we moved here. Beyond the front door, we’ve logged many hours sledding down Floods Hill, feeding the animals at Turtle Back Zoo, and hiking South Mountain reservation. The house is steps away from playing fields, tennis courts, and most importantly the town pool (which is reason enough to buy this house). South Orange Village is a ten minute walk, and you can catch the Midtown Direct train easily from there.
