At Pollock Properties Group, we have a deep and genuine Heart for the Arts. As artists ourselves—Vanessa a former dancer and Charlie currently co-starring on Broadway in “The Great Gatsby” and many, many team members who are also former Broadway actors and dancers — we all understand firsthand the transformative power of arts education.
Born out of this passion, the Pollock Arts Fair, and this digital directory, were created to connect our community, kids and adults alike, with incredible local arts educators. Whether you're seeking a music teacher, dance classes, or visual arts instructor, we hope you’ll find the perfect guide for your artistic journey right here.
As a real estate team, our mission extends far beyond home buying and selling. We believe in building community through generosity, service, and support for the arts. Since our founding, we've raised and donated almost $500,000 to local schools, arts initiatives, and charitable causes—including our own Pollock Arts Initiative (PAI), a fund managed by the Achieve Foundation, which helps eliminate financial barriers for teachers and students to access instruments and arts supplies in the South Orange/Maplewood public schools.

About the Pollock Arts Fair
The Pollock Arts Fair has celebrated arts education and culture in our community for over two years. This year, we’ve gone virtual — giving families easy access to the region’s best creative programs, all in one place. We’re proud to uplift the artists, teachers, and schools that inspire us every day.

The Pollock Arts Initiative (PAI) helps underwrite instrument and arts equipment rentals at the elementary and middle school levels to eliminate financial barriers to student participation in arts programming, supplements Achieve Foundation funding of teacher grant requests for arts-related projects, and may be used to help maintain the district’s inventory of musical instruments and other arts-related equipment and supplies.
Through the PAI, scholarship awards for advanced training are be offered to Columbia High School students who demonstrate exceptional talent and are recommended by SOMSD faculty. Awards are tailored to students’ specific needs for private instruction, classes and/or professional quality instruments/art equipment.
