Dear Future Homeowner,

Leaving my childhood home and moving to Livingston had the potential to be a truly traumatic experience. I was going into my third year of high school and as many of us probably know… that’s already a difficult time. But to Livingston we came and 50 years later we all agree it was one of the best things we’ve ever done.

I knew this was going to be a wonderful place to live, immediately upon first sight. It is quaint and charming and cozy; the kind of place that makes you feel like it has its arms wrapped around you; a refuge from any problems the world might throw at you. Always protected, but never confined.

Day to day life here is truly pleasant. The mornings are bright and sunny with the picture window in the living room and bay window in the dining room making it cheery for hours. Afternoons retain the warm feelings in winter but cool and refreshing when returning after a hot summer day.

And holidays… holidays have always been the best time of all. There has been so much fun and happiness and laughter and love over the years I can’t imagine anyone who steps through the front door wouldn’t feel it. I think it’s the perfect size too. It never feels cramped but is not so big that half the family gets lost somewhere else in the house. We’ve seen births and deaths and new jobs and retirements and through it all it’s done its job and taken care of us.

It’s truly become a member of the family and it is going to be so hard to say goodbye. So please, if you don’t fall in love with it, don’t buy it. It deserves more. But if you do fall in love with it, grab it quickly because it will see your love and raise it tenfold.
